3 Strategies for Making Type-Only Graphics
This talk goes into ways of making bold type compositions by focusing on non-conceptual approaches to typography. Joshua shows work from a range of historical and contemporary designers including Jan Tschichold, Josef Müller-Brockmann, Armin Hoffmann, Herb Lubalin, Jacqueline Casey, Non-Format, The Remingtons, and Shin Dokho and breaks down what’s happening in these pieces.
Isolating The Insight for design concepts
